The CIPTA 2015 exhibition, which has adopted a theme of ‘Inspiration’, is in line with the National Creative Industry Policy in embarking more efficient growth of the creative industries. ‘Inspiration’ is the result of creative ideas obtained from various sources, either through visuals or imaginations. In other words, students discover their best emerging talent through sparks of inspiration in creating something new. Inspiration will also help each studentin producing their outstanding ideas and quality workmanship. The Final year students from various programs in the Faculty of Applied and Creative Arts showcase a wide range of creative and innovative projects. This year’s show will see our graduating students collaborate on a remarkable exhibition in the form of digital content, sculpture, event management, paintings, music performance, creative products, short films, documentaries and so on.

 

Inspiration is like a tree which has its root. The tree will grow, bloom and immense into the sky. Similarly, a man who has the idea will continue to grow and provide motivation in the pursuit of success. This exciting event with the theme ‘Inspiration’ offers a fantastic opportunity to showcases finest creative talent and ideas that can be harnessed together. For example, the animation like Upin and Ipin has successfully raised the prestige of the animation industry to the international level through its content and marketing strategies. This can also be used as a source of inspiration to the final year students in order to increase their creativity of work not only in the eyes of the lecturers, but also the public and the potential employers. Therefore, CIPTA 2015 with the theme "Inspiration" can open a new chapter in the landscape of students’creations and innovations in the creative industries that can contribute to the Nation.
